HEPA Air Purifiers
HEPA
filtration technology was developed by the US Atomic Energy Commission
to remove airborne radioactive particles. In order to be considered
a true HEPA product, a filter must be capable of removing 99.97%
of particles, as small as 0.3 microns. Today HEPA filters are used
in places such as hospitals and manufacturers’ clean rooms
where clean air is an absolute necessity.
The
V.O.C. (Volatile Organic Compound) filter removes dangerous household
chemical gases from things like cleaners, paints, solvents, carpets,
furniture, and other material containing chemical substances.
