With 78 square feet of microfiber filter media GeneralAire's Replacement media has one of the largest particle holding capacities among residential air cleaners. Designed to maintain a low pressure drop, it will not interfere with the proper operation of the heating and cooling system.
High efficiency air cleaners incorporate a filtering media made from microscopic fibers woven
into an intricate web that traps and holds airborne particles of dust, pollen, animal dander, etc. The spaces between the fibers are so small that, in the case of GENERALAires replacements, particles as tiny as 0.01 micron are easily captured. By comparison, a particle 300 microns in diameter (30,000 times larger) would fit easily through the eye of a sewing needle.

this is a good filter
have been using this filter for several years. It holds up well changing out once for the heat season, once again for the summer. It's a bit of work to assemble into the furnace frame with separator bars but worth the trouble. We notice less dust since discontinuing hardware store type filters.

Space Guard 2200
This is an excellent filter that I have been using for over 20 years and I have been purchasing them on line from filter factory for the last six years. Excellent product and excellent service from filter factory!

A:
We only carry the replacement for the Space Gard filter, you would need the spacers. If you do not have these, you are welcome to use the EZ Space-Gard filter, this is a pre-made filter to fit into the Space-Gard and no spacers are needed.

We get the replacement from General Aire. That is the only source we know to get it from. From what I know it is genuine. and we have been selling it for many years.

This is the only refill we carry that fits the 2200,2250 Space Gard. It should fit if you have this unit. The is just the refill material, does not come with the spacers.

Can I get what looks like a case to me, It has handle on the front middle. I have a 2200 I would like to get one them for my Space -Gard, when I type ian Space Gard that case always come up. I want to purchase 1..

I am sorry but we do not carry the case that holds the Space Gard. This needs to be installed by a contractor in the field.
